Q. What is URJ Camp Giving Day?
URJ Camp Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraiser to support 14 Jewish summer camps! When you give during URJ Camp Giving Day, you'll help your camp win prizes totaling $30,000.
Q. When is URJ Camp Giving Day?
URJ Camp Giving Day is on May 8th, 2024 from midnight to 11:59 PM.
Q. Is this donation tax deductible?
Yes! All camps are part of the Union for Reform Judaism, which is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. Your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
Q. Is it safe to make my gift online?
Absolutely. Giving Day utilizes a technology called GiveGab that is PCI Level 1-compliant. Credit card information will not be stored and is not accessible to GiveGab. The contact information you provide to the Union for Reform Judaism will remain private and secure.
Q. Is there a minimum gift amount?
The Union for Reform Judaism is accepting gifts of $5 or more during URJ Camp Giving Day.
Q. I would like to support Jewish youth through this effort, but I don't have a connection to any particular camp. Where should I make my gift?
You may choose to give to the camp closest to where you live or make a gift to support our URJ Camp General fund by giving on this page.
Q. How do I make multiple gifts?
Start by selecting the first camp that you would like to support. Once selected, enter a gift amount and use the search bar to find a second camp. Then enter the amount you wish to allocate to that camp and click Next or continue adding funds.
